MVP is committed to developing resources to assist team members with their physical, emotional, mental and financial health. As we continue that process, we created this page which links to important tools to help you.

WELLNESS RESOURCES FROM AVMA

AVMA offers a wide variety of wellness resources. Get started with their self-assessment tool, and then use the additional resources to begin nurturing your emotional wellbeing: compassion fatigue, physical health, stress management, self-care, financial wellbeing, setting up a wellbeing program, work/life balance and getting help.

COMPASSION FATIGUE AWARENESS PROJECT

This site has numerous resources for caregivers working in many professions. It includes links to the Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) Self-Test and a Life Stress Self-Test to help determine if you or a colleague is highly susceptible to a stress-related illnesses. The ProQOL is the most commonly used measure of the negative and positive effects of helping others who experience suffering and trauma. The ProQOL has sub-scales for compassion satisfaction, burnout and compassion fatigue.

MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA

Find information on mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety and substance abuse. Taking their mental health screening tests is a quick and easy way to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition.

NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE
