An Awesome L.V.T!

Emily is one of our newest Licensed Technicians at VetMED. With many years in the field, she brings a lot of different and fun ideas to our practice. Emily is fantastic with pets and their people. A couple of weeks ago we had an intense emergency. The patient had ripped part of its face-off from trying to escape from its’ home. Emily was the technician on the case, and she was johnny-on-the-spot when the clients arrived. She and Dr. Ashley quickly worked on a treatment plan and were able to get the patient in for surgery almost immediately. Emily stayed almost 2 hours after hours to assist Dr. Ashley with the surgery and aftercare. She went above and beyond explaining the aftercare instructions to the owner and really showed her empathy with this case. We are so, so happy to have Emily on our team! Happy Technicians Week!
