Dr. Jessica Himelman is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her veterinary degree from Ross University. She completed her internship, followed by a residency in small internal medicine at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. She was boarded by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2019. She has practiced at busy specialty hospitals in New York City as well as Connecticut before joining the team at Mission Veterinary Partners.

Dr. Himelman truly enjoys all facets of internal medicine but has a special interest in immune-mediated disease, infectious disease, endoscopy/gastroenterology, and respiratory disease. Her published research has been focused on urologic conditions including lower urinary tract bleeding, and ureteral obstructions.

When not working, Dr. Himelman enjoys spending time with her partner Daniel, rescue Pitbull Sunny, and Kittitian cat Frankie, as well as cooking, traveling, watching live music, and being active outdoors.
